The Dead Will Walk (Rot) the Earth

Happily the N.O. death count is sinking. Suprisingly, dramatically.

Though let's not get our hopes up too much.

More Predictions:

The dollar will continue to fall. Buy other currencies and ye who possess money will soon have much more of it.

Driving will continue to be super expensive for quite a long while. Start looking for alternatives.

Half of the people exposed to the N.O. toxic sludges will die, the other half will be reborn as super heroes for the new millenium, each with their very own, very specialized super powers. Check frequently for updates.

Have a nice day.

dire warnings from a dream blasted mind

I've made a few predictions in the last year. My new role as the 21st centuries Nostradomus is a bit new as only one of my predictions has been able to be tested. But hell, it came true. Three months ago I told my very recently great friend Lee that he would leave New Orleans within 7 months. It's certainly true, though not because of any reason that I might have forseen.

The prediction I made which really bears analysis (or at the very least, fretfull hair pulling) at this point is one which I made last February. In one supreme moment of L.A. driving clairvoyence, very Zen and to hell-what-may-comeness, I had a vision that the United States of America would be finished in either February or August of 2007. Not in between. Either. Of course I was listening to a lot of Art Bell at the time so the idea didn't exactly floor me though it did seem to comfortably pre-date the Aztec Last Days by a few years, which should've been a suprise at least. After realizing, in a very stony fashion, that I had just made a prediction, I quickly amended it to state that "the government will disappear or change into a thoroughly different form in Feb. or August of 2007." Fine, got that one settled. A friend of my dads whom I spoke to several months ago, a very wise Native American sort, was suprised and interested as I had predated her peoples mythologies and predictions by a few years as well. Well what the hell are you supposed to do? A stony type vision is a vision nonetheless, sorry if I didn't do my research properly.

So what?--Paranoic delusions, too much boxed wine and take out Chinese food?
Nope, I wish, sort of. The world as we hubris mad Americans know it is done with, kaput. If you need further proof I might suggest reading the newspaper.

But for the sake of simple sad kindergarten-type-indulgence, consider the intensity of the current crisis, what if another region of the country were to be hit in a significant fashion in the near future? It should be clear to anyone with a pulse that our resources are already spread paper thin. For shits sake, Sri Lanka is donating money to us now. Analyse that.

My next prediction is that the crisis on the Gulf Coast will consume more than ten thousand lives. Perhaps as many as 20,000 will die before the next month is finished from the initial ravagings of the storm as well as the violence, starvation, and contamination by infested water. I'm suprised that I haven't heard stories of cannibalism yet among the survivors. It would be the most logical depravity to escape notice so far.

I'd pray it isn't true, but everything seems to be true these days. And besides, the time for prayer seems long past gone.

It's more 'hold on to your hats and generators' time by far.
